THE TRIP

One of the most powerful and lasting international experiences for Ivey students is the Israel Business Trip. Since its inception in 2007, more than 130 of Canada’s top business students from Ivey have traveled to Israel through this fully accredited course.
The Israel Business Trip is far more than a group of intelligent students touring Middle East historical sites. It is about understanding the rich culture and historical context that gives rise to Israeli companies and their success. Students experience Israel’s thriving economy and incredible global contributions while establishing lasting personal and professional relationships with Israelis that they will take with them throughout their careers. The trip also fosters an ongoing, engaged, and active link to the country and its people.

ABOUT IVEY

The Ivey Business School has always been a leader among business educators, and is consistently ranked as one of the best business management schools in Canada and around the world. The undergraduate HBA program offers a combination of academic excellence and outstanding opportunity, and produces well-rounded individuals with strong extra-curricular involvement, a broad world view, proven leadership skills, and outstanding personal achievement.
Integral to the HBA program are activities that include experiential learning, simulations, Ivey consulting projects, conferences, case competitions, and opportunities to learn from other cultures through international experiences. The integration of these elements makes the Ivey HBA experience unique and beyond the scope of anything offered at traditional undergraduate business schools.

YOUR SUPPORT

We seek sponsorship support totaling $100,000 to fund a class of future business leaders. Funds will constitute two-thirds of costs including airfare, hotels, meals, transportation, and related expenses while in Israel, and students finance the remaining portion. We seek enthusiastic donors who understand the value of international exposure for undergraduate business students, and the long-term benefits of educating them about Israel, and generous support will make a profound difference fostering an accurate perception of life and work in Israel.
We are pleased to include the February 2015 Ivey Business Trip Program to provide a detailed picture of the trip experience.
