Therapeutic Courtyard for Save A Child’s Heart at the International Paediatric Cardiac Centre and Children’s Hospital at the Wolfson Medical Centre in Holon.
JNF will construct two vital therapeutic facilities for children in Israel, including an innovative collaborative project with the world-renowned organization, Save A Child’s Heart (SACH). SACH is an Israeli-based international humanitarian project that provides urgently needed pediatric heart surgery for underprivileged children living in developing countries. The organization is entirely dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available, regardless of nationality, religion, color, gender or financial situation. An 85-square-meter therapeutic courtyard for SACH’s soon-to be- constructed International Pediatric Cardiac Center and Children’s Hospital at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon. A significant aspect of the outdoor space, located within the actual confines of the building, is to provide families and patients with access to the outside while maintaining an atmosphere of privacy.
Considered the lungs of the new facility, the courtyard promises to be a tranquil and relaxing spot to help patients recover from their procedures.
